Pro kabbadi Maninder's energetic performance goes in vain, because U.P. The Warriors scored a crucial victory over the Bengal Warriors
Maninder Singh's 19-point masterclass was not enough for the Bengal Warriors as they took a forty-36 lead against UP.
Warriors Surender Gill and Pardeep Narwal combined for 18 red points, while Sumit was the best defender of the game with four tackle points. The win was U.P's third win and they are now just five points behind the table.
Two points from Sukesh Hegde and one from Maninder and Ran Singh gave the Warriors a 4-1 lead. U.P. The defense added three tackle points to their team's total and Surender Gill opened the scoring for the night.
The seven-point swing added Pardeep and Ashu to UP's total of three points as they took a three-point lead. Pardeep continued his solid work and soon reduced the Warriors to a lone man on the mat. But the man was Maninder, and the captain came up with a super red to defend his team, which put the all-out away and revived the two defenders.
But the Warriors' resistance did not last long, as Surender and Pardeep came together and reduced the Warriors to a lone man on the mat again. U.P.'s defense allowed Sukesh to pick up the bonus before putting him down to make the first all-out of the game and reclaim the lead. Sumit and Nitesh Kumar added a tackle point to their team's tally as UP's lead went to four.
But Maninder made sure his team completed a strong half, as he helped the Warriors to a 3-0 lead and secured a break with a lone point.
In the first few minutes of the second half, both the teams hit hard, as U.P. One point led. Srikanth Jadhav's two-point red and then Sumit's sensational uncle hold on Maninder left the Warriors with just three players on the mat.
Gill's spectacular Scorpion kick took care of a defender and U.P. In the Warriors' subsequent climb, Pardeep tagged both defenders as they approached the midline to help his side get all out and take a seven-point lead.
After the all-out, Maninder took the points as he wished, but in the Warriors' defense, Gill or Pardeep were given U.P. Seven took the lead. Despite Bengal's weak defensive efforts, Maninder continued to add to his list. He defended Sumit's Uncle Hold's effort, then took the bonus before adding two more touch points to his team's total, taking the U.P. lead to just three points.
Along with U.P. Down to three players, Maninder went inside, adding more points to his tally and helping the Warriors get closer to getting all out. But the Raiders' hot streak came to an end as Gaurav Kumar came on the bench to captain the Super Tackle The Warriors and their hopes of victory were dashed.
In the final over of the game, Nabibakhsh and Self-Out added two more points to Bengal's tally, but it was U.P. Warrior who took five important points.
