Pakistan's Mohammad Rizwan, Shoaib Malik have dropped out of practice for the semi-final against Australia due to a suspicious, mild flu.

Rizwan and Malik, who missed the team's training session on Wednesday, still had a negative test for COVID-19. The team has also approved regular testing through the tournament. "Both players were tested for Covid-19 and both tested negative," ESPNCricinfo reported.
Like the rest of his team, he has completed a regular COVID-19 test through the competition, including a test a few days ago. It is part of the ICC's policy to encourage teams to test as often as possible, "he added.

According to reports, both players woke up on Wednesday morning with "mild flu and low fever" and were advised to be late to practice first but were later allowed to miss.
"Pakistan is not worried about their participation in Thursday's match and their condition will be reviewed again in the morning," the report said.
Both the players have played a pivotal role in the ongoing tournament and losing one of them would be a big blow for Pakistan.
Rizwan has teamed up with skipper Babar Azam for the most devastating opener of the season, while Malik has strengthened the middle order.
Pakistan has options to replace if needed. Former skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed could replace Rizwan for the wicket and Haider Ali Malik.
Pakistan remained undefeated in the Super 12 stage of the tournament, where they defeated India, New Zealand, Afghanistan, Namibia and Scotland.
